With educational roots from the University of Sto Tomas (UST) and work experience in the field of business and commerce, Loi had always felt an inner career void that must be filled. His special interest in the visual arts prompted him to first immerse himself in the world of the web. He eventually became a well-skilled web developer and creative designer with notable stints for local and foreign companies such as PLDT, Levi’s, and Ralph Lauren to distinguish his portfolio.
Another passion realized was Loi’s love affair with the performing arts. He dabbled into singing and hosting, which instantly charmed his friends and colleagues. Loi eventually became a professional host and singer who entertained countless audiences from his long list of wedding and road show events. Also in his resume are some comedic hosting jobs at Punchline and Laffline bars.
Collecting so many work experiences and having seen the in and outs of event organizations, Loi then took the driver’s seat and detoured into wedding planning and corporate events management. And eventually, he finally put up his very own business. He now heads Events by Loi Villarama, a creative team of professional events organizers who specialize in wedding planning. Their services include event hosting, entertainment packages, on-the-day wedding coordination packages, full/semi-full coordination packages, and even hair and make-up packages. It’s definitely a one-stop shop for any couple’s wedding day needs.
And just when it seems he’s got his plate full already, Loi is also the current managing director of www.myWeddingNetwork.com, a wedding and lifestyle portal where online classifieds and directories are available for busy brides.
Loi’s tagline certainly describes his style: “FUN –We make it happen.” His bubbly and well-rounded personality definitely makes any job requirement possible, and guarantees its execution executed with unforgettable pizzazz. So for wedding, web-design, or hosting needs, there’s only one man to call – a one-man creative team, Loi Villarama. Romina Tobias
